Over the years, as people have desired our creative skills, we have had the opportunity to produce a wide variety of windows, mirrors, signs, lamp-shades, wall hangings, framed pieces, mobiles and other unusual objects of art, both practical and whimsical. It has been a source of continual satisfaction for us to create the beautiful projects that answer the desires of our clients who, to our delight, often become our friends. Precisely because our creations are for the most part, made-to-order, we do not have a warehouse stocked with premade pieces. When we say, 'for the most part', that is because every so often an irresistible idea comes along at just such a time that it can be done, and hope that others find these spontaneous creations as delightful as we do. There is such a wide variety, as we often say almost any idea is possible, and because there is such a wide range of personal preferences, not every creation is as pleasing to everybody as they are to the ones for whom they were made. For this reason we are quick to say that you are in no wise limited in choice to the objects that have been created. While we can duplicate work when needed, it is our delight to do original designs, for the personal touch of elegance to your home, or that very unique and special gift that you just will not find in any store. We are also often doing variations of existing and pleasing designs. By changing shape, colors or textures, removing or adding elements, the designs become personalized and well suited to the specific application. Because of the unique and sometimes challenging nature of the projects we have done, there is a story worth telling about most of them, and I am amazed at the memories that are associated with many of the photos in our gallery. As artists we enjoy doing new things, unique things, imaginative and innovative projects. There is a delight in the engineering that is sometimes required. We love the art form and are inspired by the variety of potential. When a piece is lovingly labored on and completed, we are excited to consider what interesting project might be next. I must say that we have had the honor of adding the crowning pieces to people’s unique collections of collectables. There is even a piece of our work hanging in Buckingham Palace! With all that we have had the privilege to accomplish over the years, there are many memories and stories attached to many of the art-works. We have said that we are just stained glass artists working our way through life, with the desire to leave a trail of lasting beauty behind us, thankful for the opportunities, and always hoping that the best is yet to come!
